Good article, Chris. When I think about the influences on my life, my parents are definitely #1. We just talked about our faith enough that I knew it was something to be taken seriously, and not something to be marginalized or not connected with the rest of the world.
Course, in my opinion, I think kids/college students are leaving the church is that it is just not popular. This I think is due to a number of factors, but one of which is that the faith doesn't offer answers to a lot of the questions that that demographic is asking. Maybe we need to get better about providing answers to these questions?
